We live in a world where digital technology dominates our life style. Every aspect we interact, we see a digital role expect one with life?

May be this could be an astounding reason why in the art world there has been good amount of liking for handmade items over the past 3-4 years.

In India we are slowly catching up and beating out of the digital stuff. Online retailers for crafts, posters, LP Covers are slowly picking up. I recently dabbled in handmade stuff with a petty project of creating illustrated wedding card design for my close relative. You can see the result image attached in the top of my post.

This had given such a personal touch to the end product. Though composited in Photoshop, the brush strokes, calligraphic, design elements provide such a personalized feeling. Hoping that in coming days we see more handmade stuffs getting popular.
